At TBC we consider the physical and historical resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead to be of central importance to the life of the believer. If Jesus is still dead, then so are we in our sins. But praise God that He did not abandon His soul to Sheol, or let His holy one see corruption (Psalm 16:10). And because Jesus conquered death on that first of all Sunday Mornings, we can say with Him that, "I shall not die, but I shall live, and recount the deeds of the Lord...He has not given me over to death" (Psalm 118:17-18).

So celebrate with us this upcoming Passion Week, as we walk with Jesus from the palm-strewn gates of Jerusalem, to the upper room, and on to the hills outside the city. Join us as we weep as Jesus wept in the garden, and as we rejoice with the women and the angels that the tomb is indeed empty.

Why look you for the living among the dead?
HE IS RISEN. HE IS RISEN INDEED!
