What is this book about?
Judgment for hypocrisy is necessary and coming; the Day of the Lord is near at hand. But the steadfast love of the Lord will pity His people and bring about a dramatic restoration of worship and faithfulness in the hearts of His children. In that day, the Lord will give victory to them over all their enemies.

How does it point to Jesus?
The coming restoration happens in and through Jesus. It is the Spirit of Jesus that transforms those who call on the name of the Lord, restoring right and fruitful worship in their midst. Now, through His people, Jesus is conquering the nations through the victory of the cross.
