Well first of all, doctrines are like fingers. Everyone has a few. But it is true. If you have spent much time on this website, you will no doubt have encountered words that have multiple syllables, like Justification. While they are extremely important truths - truths you no doubt believe - we are not the type of Church that bandies words about just for the sake of it. There are some folks who use big words like a hammer. And that would be fine, were it not for their views on nails. God has revealed a lot of Truth in His Word, and 'doctrine' is just what happens when we study His Word and understand it rightly. When God speaks, we listen, because He uses that Truth - that doctrine - not just to inform us, but to transform us by the renewing of our minds.  Neglecting His Truth, or getting it wrong, is a big deal. So, while we do make a big deal about the purity of God's Word and Truth, it is also true that there is nothing that we believe which cannot be summed up in the most basic of rhymes: Jesus loves me. This I know, for the Bible tells me so. It is our heart to preach this truth in and through everything we say and do.
