Just before leaving this earth to ascend back to His throne in heaven, Jesus left His disciples with these words:
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
At TBC, we take those words of global commission very seriously. In addition to evangelism and outreach to our local community, we are privileged to support a number of missionary families and Christian professionals across 5 continents around the globe. These people have born up their crosses and made sacrificial commitments to go to the nations in order to make disciples. Their ministries include preaching, teaching, evangelism, Bible translation, pastoral counseling and training, community outreach and support, church planting, work projects, and care and mercy ministries.
Some of these families minister in countries that are "closed" to Christianity and hostile toward the work of the Gospel. For their safety and security, we don't list their names or locations on the internet. But God knows who they are, and hears our prayers for them, their families, and the priceless work that they do for His Kingdom. Please join us in praying for them!
